This commission was for a fellow outside of Chicago, who wanted to give a good friend/business colleague a thank you gift for always being willing to help him.
The client wanted the name of his friend’s business with a star-wars inspired font, and a motif that somehow represented his tools – he even told me that his friends favorite was a 3/8th wrench or socket.
After working with him on the design, we settled on a 8″x24″ sign with a high relief of a socket and piston. The project took about 3 weeks, and was completed in mid-November of 2022
